1. What we collect
When you send a booking enquiry or Talent ID match registration through the forms on this website we collect:
- the player's name, age or age group, playing position and, if you tell us, their current club;
- the name of the parent or guardian;
- an email address and WhatsApp number;
- preferred training days.
If you email or message us directly we also keep the contents of those messages. We do not ask for payment card details through this website.
2. Children's information
Most of our players are under 18. Enquiries should be made by a parent or guardian, and we treat information about players with particular care. We only ask for what we need to arrange suitable sessions.
3. How and why we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and arrange sessions. Lawful basis: taking steps at your request before a contract, and our legitimate interest in running our coaching sessions.
- To run bookings, keep session records and communicate about sessions (for example changes or cancellations). Lawful basis: performance of a contract and legitimate interests.
- To keep records we are legally required to keep, such as accounting records. Lawful basis: legal obligation.
- To share Talent ID match players' details with attending academy club scouts, when you register a player for a Talent ID match. Lawful basis: performance of a contract, as being seen by scouts is the purpose of the match, and our legitimate interests.
- To publish player names and photographs (for example in our success stories) only with the consent of the player and their parent or guardian, which can be withdrawn at any time.
We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for automated decision-making. We will only send marketing messages if you have asked us to.
4. Who we share it with
Talent ID matches. If a player takes part in a Talent ID match, we share their name, age group, playing position and current club with the academy club scouts attending that match, so the clubs can identify players they are interested in. If a club wants to follow up, contact is arranged through the player's parent or guardian. Each club is responsible for how it handles that information under its own privacy policy.
Otherwise, we share information only with service providers that help us run the website and communicate with you:
- FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), which delivers website form submissions to our bookings email inbox;
- Google, which provides our email (Gmail), the fonts used on this site (Google Fonts) and the embedded map (Google Maps);
- WhatsApp (Meta), if you contact us or we contact you through it.
Some of these providers process information outside the UK. Where they do, they rely on recognised safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or an adequacy arrangement.
5. Cookies
We do not set cookies or use analytics or advertising trackers on this website. The embedded Google Map is provided by Google and may set its own cookies or collect technical data such as your IP address when it loads. See Google's privacy policy for details.
6. How long we keep information
- Enquiries that do not lead to a booking: up to 12 months.
- Booking and session records: while a player is training with us and for up to 12 months afterwards.
- Financial records: for the period required by law, normally 6 years.
7. Security
We keep information in our email account and booking records and limit access to people who need it. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please avoid sending sensitive information you do not need to share.
8. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask us to:
- give you a copy of the information we hold;
- correct anything that is inaccurate;
- delete your information or restrict how we use it;
- object to us using it based on our legitimate interests;
- where relevant, provide it in a portable format.
To use any of these rights, email cmpd.bookings@gmail.com. We will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last changed.
